Yoruba Sentiment Analyzer
This extension enables users to analyze the sentiment (positive, negative, neutral) of selected Yoruba text from webpages. The extension sends only the selected text to a backend service for analysis and does not collect any additional browsing data or personal information.
Selected text: When you choose "Analyze Yoruba Sentiment" from the context menu, the extension sends the highlighted text to the extension's backend API for sentiment analysis.
The selected text is transmitted securely to the backend service located at https://yoruba-senti-ml.shortlnk.live/ (or the current API endpoint configured by the extension) solely for the purpose of performing sentiment analysis. The backend returns a sentiment label which the extension displays as a temporary on-page notification (toast).
By default, the extension does not store selected text locally in the browser. The backend may briefly process the submitted text to produce the analysis result. The backend does not retain, log, or share the submitted text beyond the scope of producing and returning the sentiment result, unless you are informed otherwise. If the backend behavior changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.
All communication between the extension and the backend API is encrypted over HTTPS. We follow standard security practices to protect data in transit.
The extension communicates only with the specified backend API. If any third-party services are used in the future (for hosting, analytics, etc.), they will be listed here and this policy will be updated.
